RiseONRx is operated by RISEONRX INC (Ontario Corporation No. 1001708518). Suite 163, 1720 Howard Ave, Windsor, Ontario N8X 2R8, Canada.
This policy explains what you pay for, when you are charged, when you can cancel, and when a refund is available. It forms part of our Terms of Use. Currently available to eligible adults in Canada.
You pay for treatment prescribed by the treating physician and dispensed by the partner pharmacy. The full price is shown to you before you provide payment information, and the price you are shown at checkout is the price we hold and charge.
Checkout places a hold on your card. It is not a charge.
When you complete checkout, we place a pre-authorization on your card for the full amount shown to you. A pre-authorization reserves the funds but does not take them. You will see it as a pending item from your card issuer.
Your card is only charged when the treating physician approves your treatment. At that point the hold is converted into a charge for the same amount you were shown.
If your case is under review for an extended period, the hold may lapse and be re-placed so the authorization stays valid. This does not change the amount you are charged, and it never results in more than one charge.
If the physician determines that treatment is not clinically appropriate for you, the order is cancelled and the hold on your card is released. You are not charged. There is no refund to process, because no money was taken.
A released hold stops reserving your funds immediately, but depending on your card issuer it can take several business days to disappear from your statement.
Completing an assessment or providing payment information does not guarantee a prescription or any specific treatment.
You may cancel at any time before the physician approves your treatment, and you will not be charged. Contact us at support@riseonrx.ca or 1-226-773-5055 and we will cancel the order and release the hold.
Once the physician approves your treatment, your card is charged and your prescription is sent to a licensed pharmacy for dispensing.
If you want to cancel after that point, contact us immediately at support@riseonrx.ca or 1-226-773-5055. What we are able to do depends on how far the pharmacy has progressed, because the pharmacy begins preparing your prescription as soon as it receives it. We will tell you what is possible for your order and confirm it with you.
Once the pharmacy has dispensed your medication, it cannot be returned to stock or re-dispensed. Section 6 explains what that does and does not mean for a refund.
Medication that has left the pharmacy’s control cannot be returned to stock or re-dispensed. This does not determine whether a refund or replacement may be available. Requests involving medication that is not delivered, incorrect, damaged, tampered with, or potentially affected by storage conditions are reviewed with the dispensing pharmacy. Contact support@riseonrx.ca or 1-226-773-5055 and do not use the medication until the pharmacy provides instructions.
If you have medication you no longer need, return it to any pharmacy for safe destruction. Do not flush it or place it in household waste. Pharmacies accept unused medication for disposal at no charge.
Where a physician prescribes treatment, the medication is dispensed and shipped by a licensed pharmacy, not by RiseONRx.
We do not promise a delivery date. When your medication reaches you depends on when the physician completes their review, how quickly the pharmacy can prepare your prescription, courier schedules, and weather. If you want to know where your order stands, contact us and we will tell you what the pharmacy has told us.
Some medication has to be kept cold. Certain treatments lose their effectiveness if they are not kept within a set temperature range. Medication that needs cold storage is packed by the dispensing pharmacy according to its professional obligations for that product, and the storage instructions supplied with your medication tell you how to keep it once it arrives. Please follow them, and ask your pharmacist if anything is unclear.
If you think your medication has not been kept at the right temperature — it arrives warm, any cold pack has completely thawed, it has frozen, or the package sat outside for an extended period — do not use it. Contact us straight away and we will review it with the dispensing pharmacy. Please do not judge for yourself whether it is still safe to use.
Contact support@riseonrx.ca and we will review it with the dispensing pharmacy.
Medication that arrives damaged, incorrect, or in packaging that has been opened or tampered with. Contact us as soon as you notice, and do not use the medication. We will work with the dispensing pharmacy to resolve it.
Delivery is delayed. We will trace the shipment with the pharmacy and keep you informed.
Delivery fails, or your package is not claimed. The pharmacy will attempt to contact you. Medication that cannot be delivered is securely destroyed by the pharmacy in line with its regulatory obligations — for the reason given in section 6, it cannot be returned to stock or re-dispensed.
Your medication does not work as you hoped. We cannot refund medication on the basis of clinical outcome. Individual results vary and no treatment is guaranteed to work. Please raise this with your care team through the secure messaging channel in your account — your physician may be able to adjust your treatment.
A refund is not available on the basis of how well a treatment worked for you (section 8).
If you believe something has gone wrong with your order, contact support@riseonrx.ca. Requests involving a prescribed medication are reviewed together with the dispensing pharmacy, and we will tell you the outcome and the reason for it.
Each order is a single, one-time purchase. We do not bill you on a recurring basis, and we do not automatically renew or refill your treatment. If you want to continue treatment, you place a new order, and ongoing prescribing remains subject to clinical review. Your physician may require updated health information, monitoring, testing, or follow-up before continuing or changing treatment.
The price you are shown at checkout is the price we hold and charge. We will never charge you more than the amount disclosed to you before you authorised it.
If your physician changes your dose or treatment and this changes the price, we will confirm the new price with you before any further charge is made.
Where a refund is due, it is issued to the original payment card. We do not issue cash refunds, cheques, or account credit. How quickly it appears on your statement depends on your card issuer.
If you believe a charge is incorrect, contact support@riseonrx.ca or 1-226-773-5055 for prompt assistance. Nothing in this policy limits your right to dispute a card transaction with your card issuer.
